Philemon 17-25

2 February 2026

In Philemon 17–25 we see the true power of Christian fellowship—gospel-shaped relationships marked by sacrifice, forgiveness, joy, prayer, and unity. Paul’s appeal to Philemon unveils how deeply believers are called to support one another, bear each other’s burdens, and trust the Lord to work through us for the good of His church. This sermon unpacks four imperatives for genuine Christian fellowship: supporting one another without expecting anything in return, trusting that the Lord brings joy and rest through us, expecting God to accomplish far more than we can imagine through prayer, and serving together in unity for His glory. True fellowship is not coffee and conversation—it is mutual participation in the very life of Christ.

Philemon 8-16

25 January 2026

In Philemon 8–16 we see the Apostle Paul make an appeal grounded not in authority, but in love—rooted in the transforming power of Christ. This passage shows how God’s love changes the way we relate to one another, enabling forgiveness, humility, and reconciliation that human effort alone could never produce. True Christian love flows from the gospel and leads us to embrace one another as beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Philemon 1-7

18 January 2026

In this rich and pastoral sermon from Philemon 1:1–7, we explore how genuine Christian virtues are formed—not through self-improvement, discipline alone, or human strength, but through the powerful working of God in and among His people. Paul’s letter to Philemon reveals a church marked by unity in the Spirit, love that grows from gratitude, fellowship that matures believers, and joy that overflows from the wellspring of God’s love. This message calls us to rest in God’s transforming grace, lean into the community of saints, and allow the gospel to shape every part of our lives.
