UNITING BROTHERS & SISTERS

We gather together to pray for our brothers and sisters at The Rock Church and for the gospel to spread throughout South Jersey and around the world. What brings us together to pray is not merely to list requests and recite them to God in the presence of one another. Rather, we come together to seek Him! First and foremost, we want to worship Him. In conjunction with praises and thanksgiving, we present our requests to God, and continually find Him to be a good Father who delights to answer prayer.

SMALL GROUPS

Small Groups are opportunities for believers to connect more deeply with one another in fellowship and Bible Study. There are several different groups, which meet at the church or individual homes. Groups meet once a week, every other week, or once a month, depending on the group. Newcomers are invited to inquire about getting connected to a small group.

MEN'S MINISTRY

The Father’s creative order FOR men is to lead the world. The Son’s example TO men is to serve those they lead, sacrificing for them even unto death. At the Rock, we train men to be the servant leaders that God desires them to become, growing daily in humility and responsibility. We learn at the feet of Jesus our Master, being continually conformed into His holy image of righteous masculinity. Through discipleship, we provide each man with training, support, mentorship and accountability under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The goal is to become a servant leader in your home and community; part of the prize of our upward call in Christ Jesus.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

At The Rock Church, we equip women to be wise by fearing the Lord and seeking Biblical truth over the foolishness of the world. When women live in obedience to the perfect creative order of God, they will be building upon the Rock, which is Christ; bringing glory to God and bearing much fruit in His name! Through discipleship, we provide women with training, support, mentorship and accountability under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Join us as we grow together and raise strong, inspirational women for families and Christ’s church.

CHILDREN

We are here to serve you and your family by providing a biblically sound, safe, and engaging environment where your children can learn and grow in their understanding of God.

Our children’s ministry is organized into three age groups to best care for and teach each child according to their stage of development:

• Nursery for our youngest children

• Sprouts for children up to 5 years old

• Stepping Stones for ages 6–11

Each week, children are taught directly from Scripture using Crossway’s The Biggest Story curriculum. Through this, they are introduced to the grand narrative of the Bible—seeing how God created the world, has acted throughout history, and continues to work in our lives today. Our aim is not just to teach individual Bible stories, but to help children understand how all of Scripture points to Christ.

We seek to come alongside parents as they disciple their children, equipping and encouraging you to continue these conversations at home and helping your child grow in a deeper knowledge of God and His Word.
